In this episode, I am talking with Jaimie Cloud. Jaimie is one of the world’s best known sustainability educators and pioneer of Education for Sustainability (EfS) inclusion at schools around the world. She is founder of The Cloud Institute and has helped guide school curricula toward sustainable futures for over 30 years.

What exactly the word ‘sustainability’ covers within the Cloud Institute's work
How its framework fundamentally aims to change what happens in a high school classroom
How a teacher or team of teachers would start developing a unit to explore one of the ‘Enduring Understandings’ or performance indicators
How schools can cultivate hope and problem-solving capacity as opposed to downplaying existential threats or creating excessive cynicism
